STS-123, Endeavour (March 11, 2008)
Sunrise came early for the Space Coast of Florida on Tuesday morning, March 11, when the space shuttle Endeavour lifted off with a seven-person crew on a 16-day mission to the International Space Station. The footage begins at approximately two minutes before launch and continues through SRB separation. Showing the launch real-time, NASA did not show tracking footage from long-range cameras on the ground. Light was lost after the SRBs separated.Footage courtesy of NASA TV (via Channel 16, the Charlotte Government Channel). STS-123 crew photo and mission patch image courtesy of NASA.
