Hey! If you want a piedmont blues expeience, check out the group PIEDMONT PROJECT. There you get the stringband alternative. They have been said to "keep it real".

Funny, you got the "thumbs down" for that comment while Blake himself said he was considered counter-culture in Nashville because he and his buddy, John Hartford, were hippies and spoke very openly of their regular use of dried herbs. People who think Blake wasn't a hippie simply don't know anything about the man.
