Because the band broke up and Toshi didn't talk to Yo ever since until a year and a half ago.When Yo composed the music right after hide's death, he already had the lyrics and also said nobody could since these lyrics along with his music unless it is Toshi...What a remarkable moment during the first night of reunion. the song was wordless for 10 years...

Toshi didn't sing in the first version. It was a solo Yoshiki work.

This song or the piano piece was composed by yoshiki shortly after hide died in 1998. The lyrics were only written much later on and sung live for the first time this year when X japan had their comeback concert in march.
