This is one of the best albums in history..This song is superb, great lyrics, great drums, great keyboards...CTD is an excellent group that I have enjoyed since the first time I listen to them in 1993..Thanks CTD for such great and unique music...

I've always taken the song to be about how we can't appreciate the good things in life. In the song, God makes a nice afternoon for people but nobody just enjoys it, and instead they choose to confront him with a thousand trivial questions instead.

I always saw this song as one that de-valued god, which is ok in my book; damn fairy story has too many people in a knot, life has enough rules without his. I think it's saying if there is a god, he's not that brilliant.

This album from CTD is one of my first music cd's in my life! I as about 6 years old when my parents bought it and I always played with LEGO while listening to this voice.So now when I hear crash test dummies I think of building with LEGO. lol
