ya i did the same thing as theskimmingfreak. i sliced the back of my heel but worse than tht in chipped my friends shin bone because he looked away right as a big wave came in and it tip of his board nailed his leg.

doesnt the board, when it is let go, become a dangerous object that can possibly strike you in the whitewash..ive always thought of that, but not sure on it...sick on the sand though
