Here are some facts..In 2007 London had 74,985 Violent crimes, NY had 125,009 london had 169 murders, NY had 801. This is from a chart from the official MET webside & an official NYPD web site. The comparison is a bit off though cause london crime rates are from sept to sept while NY crime rates are for the full year jan to dec If our crime rates were counted from sept to sept The numbers would be higher cause violent crime is up in NY this year. london is less violent than NY period!
