No, Henry Price was the tenor. That's Titus. Titus was nominally a baritone at this point in his career but he sounded awfully tenorish and sang some tenor parts. Then he became a Verdi baritone. Today he's a Wagnerian Heldenbariton.

They look like they are having SO MUCH FUN!!!

Well yes, but that part is just recapitulation anyway, and it fits Rosina's self-congratulatory, pesty (but ultimately likeable) character.

I agree that you should check them all out. My only other comment is that Rossini was always meant to be sung by a Mezzo not a Soprano, hence Rossini wrote the arias and songs for a Mezzo not a soprano, thats why they sound better when performed as they were written by a Mezzo!

She is amazing! This was written for her! Its not just her fantastic voice, but her beauty and charm and the way she moves on the stage. What a star! Is it Henry Price? Love him too.

i think thats a very accurate comment

What's nuts about this suggestion? He is just saying that you should check it out. I think it's a good idea. The more, the merrier!

I wouldnt say that she is really speaking to him during the latter half of this song... Sills seems to be more concentrate don her singing than on communicating something through her singing

I have done you the favour and yes Teresa and Herman are total magic!!! Is it OK to say that I personally still am crazy about Beverly's interpetation of Rosina?? Teresa was a stunning singer but we cannot compare a mezzo with a coloratura soprano! Cheers!
