Plein Soleil. I know a woman who got sick after watching this movie. Could not accept such a handsome man portraying a cold killer. And also...because she fell in love with him, naturally. Great movie. Congrats to Maurice Ronet too. And Marie Laforet

I adore Alain Delon, but I prefer Minghella's "Talented Mr Ripley" by far. Dickie is so much more charismatic, when he disappears, the spectator literally misses him. As it was said, Tom Ripley interpreted by Matt Damon is so much more sentimental and sensitive. Tom has feelings for Dickie. "Plein Soleil" remains a very good movie. But it's just different, this is very "French style.

Fabulous combination of two eras and two men with killer looks: Alain Delon and Brian Ferry. Perfect! |
