Sehr viele Lieder von E Nomine haben 'nen christl. Hintergrund. E Nomine bedeutet "Aus dem Namen" und ist eine Ableitung von "In nomine" (Im Namen ... Gottes). E Nomine haben auch einige weniger christl. Lieder. Bemerkenswert ist, dass in (jedem) Lied der Chorus auf Latein ist.
