Cor, what an idea! "Who" only knows what wonders they could have achieved?!?What did you reckon to the version of A Quick One from the Circus? There was a strong rumour that the Stones felt they were so blown off the stage that they sat on the tapes for decades, and I've got to say that I rather agree- Moon et al just about carpet bombed everyone else on the line up.

I agree with half of your supergroup...except I'd change Clapton to Pete Townshend and Lennon to Roger Daltrey....Can you imagine what those four could have achieved?!! Can you imagine?!!

Well, that and standing up straight! But yeah, for an ideal supergroup I'd have had the Ox on bass, Clapton on guitar, Moon on drums and maybe Lennon fronting. That would have been cool...
billheartyface (July 25, 2008 at 6:03 pm)
maybe...but Moonie had trouble with 6/8.

no shit, i'm just saying, it's cool to look at that, seeing two of the world's greatest musicians enjoying themselves like that, and being into it and stuff.

This is such great footage. Once again, John proves he is one of the best rock n roll vocalists of all time.

Called being in time with the music?Anyway.. this song is absolutely awesome. No matter how many covers are out there, this will remain the best.

that part where clapton and lennon are tapping their feet in unison is great!
