what arugments BS. Bradman was a different era so should not be compared with todays' players. How long will you keep on syaing he is the greatest. It was different time, different bolwers, different tactics. Game has changed, Bradman would have been successful today but not as much. So just do not make him a immortal.

except for Wasim Akram. Rcihards tried his best against the young Wasim in 1987, but was not able to get Akram away and gave up his wicket to a Akram Yorker. POstmacth, he admitted that Akram was the most difficult to get away with.

I agree that Don Bradman would have been in trouble even facing Ajantha Mednis. today's bowlers are more smart than before, and although Don would have done good in the longer term, but no way his average could remain 99.

Lillee was hammered by a unknown for five fours in an over in Faisalabad, and he said the famous words of making his grave on that pitch. Akram was a great bowler than Lillee. A real match winner. I don't care what number of wickets he took at which number etc, there was no other bolwer who could do so much with the ball. He was God's gift to Cricket.

Never seen that before lol - great entertainment. Chappell was right one day cricket lost something with the bouncer ban but the windies used it as a negative tactic and it had to go. Lillee there, was just trying to intimidate and unsettle Viv and did ! One day ckt is on the way out but the 20-20 game should have the odd bouncer in it.

Gents I have just checked the Strike Rates of Waqar and Dennis! Waqar 43 balls per wicket! Dennis 53 Balls per wicket! Need I say anymore. Dont get me wornd Dennis was a great bowler, but so was Waqar

Excuse me Sir, If I remember correctly Waqar removed wickets based on his right arm and the use of any player on the field! If I remember correctly he also had the greated Strike rate during his peak! Need I say anymore. I never watched Lilee, but I did watch Waqar and for me I rather watch him than any other bowler, based on the fact he could pick up a wicket anytime on any wicket! My personal thoughts

That means World Cricket haven't produced even one decent batsman since the 80's. Also, that means the tailenders of that era were much better than any of the modern day greats like Tendulkar and Lara, LOL.
