He as also been outspoken in his support of the Soviet USSR, something which those Catholics who believe in the phrophecy of Fatima strongly oppose and suggest as a reason for the phrophecy being revealed when it was, as anti-communist. Surely this must be a major contradiction.

Hardly a convinient distraction is it. At what point has he publicly furthered the interests of Catholics above any other religion. He has been more than outspoken and controversial regarding middle eastern politics and i think that this has harmed his reputation rather than furthered his career and subsequent ability to further a Catholic caused. As a politician he is a socialist and nothing more.

He loathes Protestant Britain and Protestant America. He wishes Catholic Spain had conquered Protestant England during the Armada and then he wouldn't have to moan constantly about the Act of Settlement. And don't give me this nonsense about being "democratic". He dismisses the Battle of the Boyne as Protestant bigotry when actually, it was the first great step towards the democratisation of the western world. And he also misleads people about the President of Lebanon (Maronite Catholic). |
