Thanks for the answer about the show muGsey!!I didnt remember that Leslie Uggams had her own show. I do remember her from The Mitch Miller show. Wow, that was a long time ago!!

Thanks for all the great comments! Leslie Uggams had her own TV variety show in 1969. As a multi-talented performer, she went on to play the starring role (Kizzy) in the TV miniseries Roots, in 1977.
