WOW thats pretty awesome! I like the idea of having a regular quiet muffler and then in a moment having an almost glasspack sound.Such an awesome sleeper tool for muscle cars ^_^Thanks btw!

Forgot to add that open they sound almost like loud glassspacks or Magnaflow-type mufflers with the sound level of typical Flowmaster mufflers of the 17" case size.

Closed it sounds like and almost quieter than stock dual exhaust GTO mufflers or slightly louder than typical big cars like Olds or Cadillacs.

HmmWhat do the open and closed exhaust noise resemble? Like for example "the open muffler noise sounds like a Flowmaster....Series Muffler while the closed sounds like the..."Thanks!

i was told pollution and safety was getting to be a big deal and GM thought this was promoting street racing and they just couldn't have that.They didn't like "the humbler" name either i don't believe

My dad has a 1970 GTO with this option. Pretty cool. He never bought the mufflers after the originals wore out. They were super expensive to replace back in the day even. He still has his switch and everything else is stock on his car. |
