Don't get me started on the talk-singing. Such a beautiful song. The repetition of the melody is integral to the feeling.

I agree with Velob...and with such a stunning voice and great sounding harmony section and band..but to talk that beautiful melody line just makes it sappy and overstated.I dont think or feel that you can mess with Prine's simple gemlike beauty and come out ahead. Anyway still a beautiful chorus..she is a great and powerful musician..and I for one would sure love to hear her do a traditional rendition.....with female harmonies on top of the fellows.Thanks so much for posting

This is a terrible rendition. The pacing is gratuitous. All the flats have been turned into sharps. Sad.
