You had to be there for the 60s because there was so much talent at that time. Whats not to like about 60s music? It set the bar for rock and roll. The 70s had only a handful of great artists, disco sucked and the urban cowboy scene was even worse. Obviously you were one of these kids who blew their noses on their mothers curtains if you liked 70s music.

60's and 80's music was terrible. i can tell you are a window licker because you skipped the 70's. easily the best decade for music.

The 80s was a rockin' time when all the music was great (like the 60s)... It was the springtime of my life when I was in my late twentys and I took it all in much better than the 60s which I loved too. Thanks for posting this!

This is one of those rare occasions that a remake challenges the original. They added an edge that completely works. There is an emotion to the song that they are able to convey.
