it doesn't matter WHO wrote it, but HOW & WHY he sang it. I really luv this song, when i first heard it, i cried. Gary is amazing and i understand [sorta] what hes [and was] going thru. My uncle's bf[hes not married- was, but is divorced] commited suicide. Hung himself in his garage, and my uncle found him.

his wife did kill herself but the song was wrote along time before that by the lead singer of vertical horizon buddy
