I don't see how you people get these far fetched ideas. A soul, is what sepeerates men from animals...I think of it as how we get our emotions and other qualities animals do not have. Honetsly, the death of ONE fucking dolphin, should not even bring a long debate over this sort of thing. So I won't be posting back.

although this guy has some sort of a point...they do die faster out of captivity about 5-20 percent faster...you really need to look at the bigger picture...it's called the butterfly effect....kill one creature now...and its entire evolutionary chain (and food chain) might be disrupted hundreds of years from now...

....if there is such thing as a soul...which there isn't it's just a collective sub-concious that all humans share but derive their own thoughts from.....then what makes you think that a dolphin (which is smarter than some people) wouldn't have one.

Being a vegetarian for over 16 years, since 21, your last phrase does not apply to me. To have a constructive exchange, it's best to stick to relevant issues and avoid trying to take it to a personal level. If you want an answer, industrial fishing -dolphin safe or not- is cruel, a daily modern day holocaust, but so is the meat industry: chicken, beef, pork, veal, they all are truly vicious and horrendous production chains.
