So I think many blacks of slave descent in the United States have matured with a kind of nihilism. They view themselves as inherently different from the "good," defined externally as white, and they also recognize the absurdity of race. Or, and sometimes also, their parents, the descendants of slaves whose families were broken, teach them to hate themselves. Destructive acts give many the ephemeral feelings of being alive - or maybe it is free?

this actually was a beautiful film. everyone was like 'omgosh its so scary' but to me its a clear vision of our future. Britain soldiers on =P
