Canon actually really improved on the 450D standard lens this time by also adding Image Stabilization. If you are adamant about Nikon go with the D80, but even the XSi has better professional reviews than the D80. Check out dpreview or Steve's Digicams for more info.

Can some please tell me why I should buy the Canon EOS 450D instead of Nikon D60 ...Canon standard kit lenses tend to to be very good. You must always buy separate lens to see the real quality - pushing up price.Nikon tend to have better standard kit lenses.Thanks

I got the 450d today, I was impressed how easy and good quality images it takes compared to point & shoot cameras.its my first dslr camera and its amazing ! recommended.

i got this camera, and found that what you really need to take sharp pics, is a good lens, i got 18-55 with it and i was not really convinced with pics, till i got canon 70-400 that is different history |
