A character and a mechanical design of "FREEDOM" are whats ootomo who was the author of "AKIRA" designed. However, ootomo is not taken of charge besides.

the animation looks a lot like akira. i don't care for it much, but I know better than to judge it just by the animation. It looks really really good. ^_^
