What a great patriot and artist Randy Newman is, full of love and sadness for our dying country. He knows we are nothing but a fascist state (the marriage of corporate power and government) without the Bill of Rights. God bless him on this 4th of July. I love my country and fear my government.

the book is called animal farm by orwell. China has only had success in the past couple years, because it pushed away communism, and opened up to trade. The people of china will never really be free to trade until the gov't steps out completely. Communism doesnt work, because there is no incentive. In communism where everybody recieves the same income, you have no drive to work harder, when you know there is no way your income will increase, or living conditions will get better.

did the world ass need kicking ??? socialism isnt failing in europe either its not doing gr8 but its not failing either ??? my view on communism is it should have work but alass they didnt really stick to it did they some where more equal then others, read the book Animal Farmer and there in is the answer to its failings. but ur right greed = success for u and ur happy to be that way ;/ oh and isnt china(communist) the biggest capitalist in the world lately ?? not to sure

Being greedy? If you are talking about capitalism, It is what has allowed us to kick the world's ass for a century. As for communism, it didnt work, and socialism, It is currently failing in europe and canada. So if greed is the cost of success, I will weather it, because things will eventually even out in the end. They always do.
