I guess you could classify it as a "so bad it's good" game. As in "The storyline, characters and most of the elements are ridiculous, but the gameplay itself is pretty fun"

Well, the graphics were a far cry from the works of Half-Life and I was a bit overwhelmed by the historical inaccuracy, but for the regular joe this game is pretty good.

This game sucked and was incredibly fun at the same time. That's not easy to accomplish.
