Saying you know for sure that there is no God is as ridiculous as saying you know that there is a God. You can't prove that there is or isn't a God, so saying you know that there isn't makes you sound ignorant and dogmatic. The idea of a creator is universal and exists in every society. It can't be proven or dis-proven but the need to answer the question of why we are here and what made the universe will always exist in peoples minds and can't be answered with science alone.

...because he doesn't have the answer", but you're wrong. If you understand what I'm saying, I will have answered your question in a better way than a direct answer would have done. In addition, I don't think you would understand the answer in the first place, due to lack of insight that just has to be experienced. How do you explain to a child that they there are some things they just won't get? It's not possible without insulting them, like you feel insulted now. See?

If I choose not to answer your q, you will jump to the conclusion that "see, it proves that he wants to avoid the q bc he doesn't have the answer/doesn't want to reply/etc". That is not a valid logical conclusion. The reasons could be that I find the question offensive, nonsensical or (here comes the real reason) that you put yourself in a position of authority, demanding and answer out of nowhere. Now, you'll probably think something along the lines of "I knew it, he is still avoiding the q...

You wrote a statement and so did I. Then you put yourself in the position of demanding an answer. I don't think you realize how personal and how unsuited for YT that question was. Not all questions are sensical ("Which direction has green?"), some are offensive ("Why is your mother so ugly?"), some have answers that makes no sense, since the real answer needs to be experienced, or matured (like advanced maths, how the view of the world changes when you matures and perhaps spiritual insights).

"pretending he doesn't have a belief-system"I never denied this. Are you talking to yourself about me or something? You still haven't answered my question. No surprise there but nice try in your effort to divert attention away from yourself to the person asking you the question at hand^^

The first word was a typo, I meant "surprise".

Surpride surprise, another person pretending he doesn't have a belief-system and that people only use one half of the brain.

Surprise surprise...another person unwilling to explain what their deity is *sigh* C'est la vie^^

My comment must be seen in direct relation with your first comment. You say God is pwned, I say God pwns. The statements are both without explanation, and in that regard pretty equal. They also contain the word "pwn", and hence, should not be taken too serious, as you did. Assuming anything about my beliefs based on "God pwns" is silly and blowing things completely out of proportions, as is this wordy and serious reply to you. So there. We are now in balance in terms of how we reply. Aom. ^^

Explain your God and how it can pwn. If you can, then you would be the first^^ |
