A whole bunch of people were mad that the strongest in Melee(Bowser) was Bottom tier because he is slow when the guide stated he was Top Tier in Smash attacks(the games main focus). You can't say he's bad at combos because Most of his attacks hit atleast twice.

I've been to a tournament and made final four with Bowser(the tournament bottom tier). I lost to a person using King Dedede and that person won. The other two in the final four used Ike and Luigi. My point is being slow isn't a major weakness as being weak or not being able to do a single standard attack unless you have help. BTW, the 3 opponets I took out used MK, Marth, and Fox. Personally, I play as some fast/weak characters but the whole Melee thing ticked me off(running low).

Seriously. Olimar is usually ranked near the high tier in most lists, I don't know who made that "strategy guide".

Have you even been to a major tournament? MK is the top tier. Ike can stand his own if he's played right, but no way in hell is he high/top tier. Go enter the tournament scene before you say anything man.

By Marth being overpowered are talking about his final because if so, I totally agree however, since Snake was strong in MGS I don't see how he's overpowered. Wario and Wolf are underpowered IMO. Everyone else, I also agree on, it's just that Ridly wasn't playable because he's too overbalance like CF was in the fist SSB. My definition of an overpowered character is a character who is small in size but is strong as a person who is big as DK.

Heh. Fine, so around 4 characters all have 1 move which can kill pikmin easily. Regardless, it still takes so very little time to pluck out more. Depends on how fast and strong they are. Kirby is pretty fast and has a fair few strong moves, and he's not overpowered. Same for Zelda, Ice Climbers, Pikachu, ROB, Luigi, Wario, Wolf, etc. Wheraes you also have Yoshi, Ness, Fox, and Mario who are average or worse, and Marth, Snake and GandW who are overpowered.

You must havn't played against Bowser, Ike, Snake, Pokemon Trainer, or any characters with elemental attacks as Olimar because some pikmin die easily when hit by fire, water, ect. Also if a character is fast and strong at the same time, he/she will be cheap. Hence why Ridley wasn't playable.
