what a thing to behold!I have long been waiting for the 'masses' to catch up with our inherant genius and forays into sonic experimentation. EG I was fucking around with creating sonic overtures n my own 5.1 back yard at least 4 years before i saw this video tonight. had since given up on it. you know, the i couldn't be bothered to check back for spelling.....note

I think he's just passionate actually . . we don't get to see musicians talk much if you think about it , ,especially about anything intellectual or conceptual . .musicians are supposed to be humble and cool and funny and let their music do the talking but that's an enigma cliche . I like the fact that FSOL attempt to speak and explore ideas and sound . .spot on !!woiuld love to have been in that cinema hearing lifeforms that's for sure . .

yea a bit pretentious maybe, but i do agree about the limitations of stereo. ambient music especially could be taken to a whole other level in X.1

It's great to hear a genius like Gaz speak so inspired again. Gaz and Brian, the greatest minds of our time. I'm an FSOL fanatic!! can't wait to see where they take us now.
