Level: Beginner to intermediateI hope this video gives you an understanding on how to mix Electronic Dance Music, whether it be house, dance, or trance, with whatever gear you have. After watching this you will effectively know how to use cue points and the equalizer in bettering your mixes!I used a program called Virtual DJ, a great program for starter's to learn by. It has its flaws, like any other software mixing program, but I found it to be the best to base your learnings off of if you want to move up to the real toys.I'm mixing what we call progressive trance (a very house sounding atmosphere but a trance'ish construction). Hope this does something for you.. practice, practice, practice!

well, I beatmatched them by pressing spacebar, but if you meant cue match then you can do one of the following: you can zoom out and match the points manually, or you can match the times in the cue tab... but you should really know how tunes are built. Every tune is structured more or less the same - for the club - and once you learn the structure you can mess around with it to build your dj style

how did u get the two tunes to play so that both cue points hit at the same time? (deck a reaches cue point 5 just as deck b reaches cue point 1)

cue points indicate the start/finish of a tune, now if you match track a and track b's cues, everything will flow smoothly!
