the architect himself said the building was designed to withstand a 707 crash. buildings can be made to withstand pretty much anything if you want to spend the money. you make a building out of 200 feet of reinforced concrete it will withstand a direct nuclear bomb blast.

It is the first steel building to collapse from fire. The only three steel skyscrapers in history to collapse from fire all collapsed on the same day in the same area. It seems pretty fishy to me.

We were told it collapsed becasue of "intense heat that fatigued the steel and made it collapse" No I dont think buildings were specifically designed to withstand plane crashes, but they were definatley designed to withstand the amount of heat from fires. and isnt the world trade center the first buildings to collapse due to heat in history?
