I hope the Kaddish is for ALL Holocaust Victims, ALL 11 Million. Monuments worldwide seem to acknowledge only the Jews that perished. I guess the rest don't count. That's the only conclusion one can make...

This is Mandy Patimkin singing "Oyfn Pripetchik" ... what a beautiful tenor voice. This is one of loveliest Yiddish melodies!

Please stop hate on this board. We the Jews see and hear this and we are sad because this is a song of our families and our past. It is how and why we are where and who we are. But we do not and we must not hate. It was hate without reason that started this and we must not let it continue.

It is a universal desire, and so it must be, wether it is Darfur, Bosnia, Iraq....People have the right to live in peace, see their children grow up and their grand children. Has nothing to do with american capitalism, but with a universal desire for peace

We are all victims when human beings subject other human beings to violence and terror. The generations that witness such acts and future generations who learn about such acts are negatively effected in profound and incomprehensible ways. Whether it be events of ancient times, last century, 9/11 or those unfolding now they will disturb and impact upon the development of our young. When will we seek for real peace, not just the desires of American capitalism?

Just can't watch this video with dry eyes. I am a grown up woman, with children and I just can't understand this. The idea that my family suffered this fate makes it even worse. But I cry for all the victims, jewish and non jewish. May they all be in heaven.

The hatred expressed on this board (toward Muslims, toward Jews, towards Christians) is the very type that lead to the Holocaust in the first place. Peace is possible... |
