If you love oldschool animation, try Space Adventure Cobra if you haven't. I for one liked it, really nice space adventure.

your statement is only partially true. Most anime does suck. One Piece, Bleach, Naruto. Uhg, just a few of many horrible shows. But there are other good animes.
