Who lived on the present Bulgarian teritory just before bulgarians and slavs arrived, between 0 to 5 century ?

I think Bulgarians have changed alot of things. I think they re now more friendly and are respecting things. Today Bulgaria is totaly different from Bulgaria some decades ago. Of course in every country there are brainless people but i believe todays "assholes" of the balkans are fyrom and albanians. albanians are number 1 "assholes" without competition. All other countries are looking for freedom and development. albanians and fyrom are looking how to cause problems and trouble.

these, who claim that Alexander the Great was bulgarian, can not be taken serious.

I just want to add something, i appologize to all Bulgarians that are normal people and may understand wrong my previous comment, but i just refered to the Bulgarians that are so called "re-writers of History", those who claim that Alexander the Great or Vlad Tepes were Bulgarian.

Note-"vlach" is word of Germanic origin(from Walha) that defines a latin-speaking population(in the Balkans it referes to Romanians and derrived populations, ex: Aromanians, Istro-Romanians, Megleno-Romanians, etc.). I know in Greek it has another meaning, that`s why i`ve told you that :D

Anyway, the albanians reject this theory and say that the Romanian language has borrowed all the 160 words from Albanian, and that Albanian hasn`t borrowed nothing from Romanian. Also they don`t recognize any vlach population in that area before the 10th century.I don`t want to be rude but this sounds to me like the bulgarians that claim Dracula was a bulgarian(i guess it is in their genes to "write history", like their brothers from Fyrom)

I wasn`t talking about the origin of the nowadays albanians(witch is obvious-a muslim country in Eastern-Europe), i was talking about the albanian language(that before the turkish "influence", some say it had a Daco-Thracian or Daco-Illyrian origin). Anyway, there are many other theories on the similarities of those words. One of them is that there was a vlach population there before the Dark Ages (possible since even today the total vlach population is the most numerous in the Balkans)
