I'm almost certain that DW was not re-released for XP, if you got a copy from, shall we say, anothner source they may had fixed it to run on XP.Either way though you can get DW 1&2 for the PSX, it'll be a bit expensive but it's well worth the price and will work just fine on the PS2..not sure about the PS3 however.

Odd. Because i had it once and it worked on XP.-- without DOSBox. Quite odd.

I doubt you're still interested but Discworld was never released for XP and it probably never will be, your only chance is either running Discworld on DOSBOX or buying the PSX version.
