That album Ronson came down to play on in London is called Fully Qualified Survior by Michael Chapman . It's a classic with great guitar playing . The track Postcard from Scarborough is one of my favorites .

Thanks to 3xfilm for posting this. I am one of those who think that Mick Ronson's songwriting was good and almost excellent on "Heaven and Hull". I never tire of hearing "Don't Look Down" and "Life is a River". Hunter, Ronson and Bowie have brought me much pleasure....Comfort when I was depressed...inspiration when I was lonely...a sense of belonging to something happening when things went well. Ronno what a lovely man and a great talent. Bowie knows the depth of your input into those early classic albums. They wouldn't be classics without you e.g. Life on Mars it was Ronno's classical training with his string arrangements that makes LoM so beautiful.

Ronson was an awesome musician and arranger. It's hard for me to believe that some people can play guitar AND piano, 2 very difficult instuments to master.

I met Ian and Mick while touring in the mid 70's in Detroit. The difference was that Ian shook your hand but Mick KISSED you! Oh how I miss him! RIP Mick!michelle :)
