I know, how good is it? Just watched the Barley Pickers tear their way to victory tonight in their jet propelled ripper. I think so far, out of all the teams, I think their ingenuity and ideas are by far the best. My jaw was left hanging when they built their hydraulic excavator out of a truck axle and some old rams. Amazing stuff.

I'm currently watching it on ABC2 also. I love the fact that ABC are showing it from the start, series after series with no ads! It's so totally perfect!

Am I detecting a conspiratorial undertone to this clip?? The new show starts (started?) 4/11 and the clip length is 4:11. Hmmm...To be serious, my 3 year old son and I LOVE Scrapheap Challenge, or the "Car Show" as he calls it. We never miss it here in Australia on ABC2 although we are watching old series. I love it so much, I've recently bought myself a MIG welder so I can fashion my own "scrap". Just subscribed to the channel and keep up the great work.

How long did it take you to film all the little inserts? What did you do, put your camera by the side of the road, back up and then drive past it again? That's serious dedication to YouTube. :)
