Don't like the narrator, I just get the feeling that she is not a Modern PC user. I didn't see anything worth while it was all gimmicks and little substance. Show me how this will work with office or word then I will be more interested in this technology

Chill out? I'm not a moron, I just think it's something which would be used very rarely in the home or office. Also, regardless of whether you like them, the iPod touch and iPhone are two of the first products that have introduced consumers to multi-touch on a big scale, so it's no surprise that Microsoft is accused of 'copying' Apple. That's why in this video, when she demonstrates certain features, the spectators say it's 'like on the iPhone'.

Your a moron dude. I respect comments but yours is nothing more then ignorance incarnate. A pen on a tablet doesn't make sense in all circumstances. No does a mouse, nor does a keyboard. This is an enhancement. Apple's shit IS tacked on in the iHype. Windows 7 will integrate it in a way that allows you to use it or not.

I loved watching her cringe every time they say 'oh that's just like the iPhone'. Nice try Microsoft, but this technology is a gimmick. She even says herself, it isn't designed to replace a keyboard and mouse, and that's because a keyboard and mouse are much quicker to use. I can control my PC and I hardly have to move. I certainly don't want to lean forward and touch my screen with both hands, and it'll get filthy!

I've got a normal Tablet-PC with a normal touchscreen and a normal Digitizer. Will there be also improvements for those "single-Touch" Devices?

AWESOME Work Microsoft .. GO Go GO .. All of that just happen proving the internal Industry Vision videos .. Microsoft has proper direction that they follow to achieve unexpected ... and sure they cooperate with hardware vendors like hp and dell on that side ..

windows needs to take there time making this. thy don't want a another op like ME so take your time and need to work on the touch screen look at time 0:46

multi-touch is a very great improvement in technology and it would be awesome to have it on PC as well. But as always, another great scheme from MS....you have to update both your software (which is the OS) AND the hardware (which would be that stupid screen and maybe some graphic cards..) and as a result..you throw cash at MS again! (just like VISTA...lol) |
