Fui praticante de shotokai ha alguns anos. Um karateka nao deve abandonar a sua actividade e este foi o meu caso, por motivos de ordem pessoal que nada tem a ver com a magnifica familia de pessoas pertencentes a esta associacao. Opto por nao me identificar. No entanto, permitam-me espressar a minha alegria a ver que, decorridos alguns anos, a associacao continua viva e a divulgar o seu trabalho tal como ele é. Para quem quer ver filmes de pancadaria, veio ao local errado... :-)

As an answer to some comments I've read here: The shotokai spirit has nothing to do with fighting against the others, but fighting against ourselves. That's the true battle of the ones who pratice this martial art. Never judge it art without trying it, but trying it hard. You will understand by yourself what is meant by this. Be prepared for the surprise and never stop praticing. (continua em portugues)

Impoe respeito... a audiencia... as camaras de filmar. Parabens! parece-me que este sim é o verdadeiro Shotokai... diferente de muitos Shotokais que andam por ai em competiçoes, este soube manter a sua essencia.
