I believe it is. There's no other Janesville closer to the NW burbs where the Popes are mostly from. It's only about 75 miles away, and they probably saw the sign a gazillion times running up to Madison for gigs and so forth.On the other hand it isn't so much about Janesville as it is about towns like Janesville.

I'm fairly certain it is. Josh's other band, Duvall, has a song called "Racine" that refers to Racine, WI.

Yeah, it was ridiculous. I've never gone to see them that close to Chicago, too, and I was stunned by just how many under-21 people were there. In Columbia I'm pretty sure I was the only person there under 25.
