There's also the fact that Chuck is a task master and a bit of an ego maniac (don't get me wrong I worship him) and Keith is usually too drunk to walk, much less play (again I love him but, facts are facts)

Keith had and has great respect for Chuck. Was his idol in many ways when he was coming up. He was so awestruck he fucked up alot here just because he was intimidated. Fun to watch that. Good post thank you!

Of all of those who profited from copying or "re-interpreting" Chuck Berry such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, etc, he was most threatened by Keef because he knew who the better guitar player was. |
