There is too much hatred and fear in this world, especially of things that are not understood. It may not be much, but I at least hope to speak for the few number of people that do truly feel and offer remorse for what has occurred in this country's historical line, especially against those whom we have treated with such disrespect and disregard. My wish, even if idealistic, is that we can all live in peace eventually. It does not erase the past, but it can ensure a better future for everyone.

im am roughly 75% cherokeei too feel awful for what my ancestors went through in the past. white man treated my ppl horribly. they cannot ever in my opinoin make up for what they did. but that we can still forgive and live in peace says so much to me. im am so proud of people that arent natvie, and still understand.thank you

Wow. Thank you! That means a lot! I just grow tired of people always thinking I'm Mexican because of my color, or Persian because of my nose!.. But I will definitely keep those words and think upon them in tough situations. Thank you!

The Native flute is so wondrous! Beautiful video and music!! I, as a Native person, always wonder why others refer to the Native people as Native "Americans". To me, that term denotes "USA". Maybe it should be "Native NORTH Americans"? The USA/Canada border was placed there by non-native people. The Native people live in both countries. Anyway, just something I have always pondered...~Star~

I have some Cherokee blood running through my veins, but I am white. I feel grief for what the white man did to the people of that branch of my heritage. Thank you for the beautiful soothing flute melody...
