Real equipment does not sound better it sounds more analoge or less digital. The peeps who say that it is just binary code are not real musicians or producers. If UAD and Waves were just binary code, real producers with thousand of dollars worth of equipment would not use them. There is a reason why real producers use pluggins, it is because they are that good. Some of you posters are suspect, I dont really think you produce or know anything about music with some of these comments. Word up

No matter what, the real hardware is always better in sound. But even though plug ins lack the real deal, they are more convenient to use and can remember your previous used settings. What is more important to you? Thats the question.

Some people will believe they are hearing what they are told to hear. Its your money guys.... (expensive binary code)

I recommend anyone considering these plugins go to the uAD website to watch the videos-- the encoding/ data compression here on youtube really limits what you can hear.

he well i listened again and i heard some difference , more hi frequences on the drums , and some kind of difference on the bass , but the vocals sounded the same to me bypassed or not...my ear is just not trained well enough to hear every difference

listen for the softness - smoothness - it is not a treble/bass loud/low thing. Or go the About this video
