Great questions..You are Soul, and It's more like overlapping worlds or worlds inside each other. These worlds are already worlds inside yourself. Ghosts are often people, without a physical body, from the astral plane. Your body sits or rests as you A(Soul) journey in these inner worlds, but we all do this when we go to bed at night - it's just most don't remember consciously.

how does this work? like does yoru soul go to another world or are there overlapping worlds? would the sightings people report as ghost possible be someone soul traveling? can you watch over people you know while soul traveling? i know this is a lot of questions but i stumbled up this video by accident and started to research "Hu" a little bit and become very curious. what happens to your body while you soul travel? how do you get back?
