Well, both have their modified hind limbs that act as flippers, but sea lions are able to position theirs forwards, and can still walk relatively well on land. Seals merely drag theirs behind them as the flub about on land. Another major difference is that sea lions still have external ear flaps and seals due not.

Killer whales have been known to train there young, therefore the bigger whales wont attack and instead leave the hunt to the younger whales.
