Ok people, Rose is real. And that interview with the old girl in the movie that was real too. But, we don't know if Rose was lying, or telling the truth about this whole love story between the two.

no rose and jack are not based on true people but the titanic story is all true im not sure about jack but rose is based on an early 1920's artist that is what Cameron says

ok i no this is weird but..jack and rose are real.... because my name is sarah hall and my great grandmothers name is rosalie and my great grandfathers name is jack dawson....and my moms madin name happens too be allison ann dawson..adn my great grandfather died on the titanic and my grandmother died 4 years after the titanic sunk and i have some of her stuff from the titanic it is a very sad thing expecially when i am watching these kind of videos..

of course it is based on a true story! it happened on april 14 1912!!!! it makes me sad everytime i hear this song.
