we have same situation disk defragmenter has detekted chkdsk is skedyul to run on the volume c... wat shud i do wat does it mean? wat isthe best way to do? wat is the advantage of disk defrafment to the comp? plz help me im only noob user ... ty

hey i tried defragmenting my c disk but this is what it says look Disk defragmenter has detected that chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume: presario (c) and i dont know what that means

When you try to run chkdsk, it will say it can not run because it needs exclusive rights to the drive and it can't do that while certain files are in use. so it will ask you if you want to schedule this to run on the next reboot, Accept this and when you restart your pc it will run the scan.

I have a question when I analyze my C: drive it says it's corrupted so it tells me to run chkdsk/f but it says it's not available how do I fix it? thanks

Defragmenting puts all of your files back where they belong and makes your hard drive faster, Disk clean up only deletes files that are not needed, to free up disk space. |
