Is Technics SL1200 M5G Pitch Control works with the Old Sl 1200 Mk2 or to SL 1210?

what's the standard time the pitch should last in sl1200?i bought my first sl1200 deck early this year (new) and found out today that the pitch needs replacement. i do practice everyday and ride the pitch quite alot but i thought these things would take bit of more beating.. any ideas?

hey mate good vid, just a quick question do you need to re calibrate your pitch once you change the pitch control?

You should post on changing the rca cables, I'm sure all would agree they suck. I changed mine before with some cheap cables. Would like to use monster cables, or quality gold cables

I don't know if you mix/match beats but you'll notice when you're mixing. One record will spontaneously fall out of time (and kill your mix). Also if you have two copies of the same record, you should be able to beatmatch them with the pitch control on each turntable at 0. If one is off zero, then the pitch could be replaced.

nice tutorial, but after seeing you break it I got a pitch+pcb pre-wired on ebay, plug and play rather than solder and break my poor deck =) great video nevertheless
