I don't give a shit about the Japanese names. I'm not Japanese. they couldn't do a good job at translating the names, they were able to do better before! it's just that they're running out of ideas, and they need to stop, seriously, the show is going way downhill because the new voice actors are terrible and the new characters and pokemon and all that suck, I mean, at least do something NEW to the series! everybody thought Super Mario was getting old, look at Mario Galaxy! THAT was good!

Well, those aren't their real names, they are only translated names. Original and real names are in Japanese...

It's probably just me but they could've made this game alot better unlike doing the same thing they do in every other pokemon game (e. getting all 8 badges, beating the evil Team Rocket leader, talking to people that don't really give or tell you anything important, etc)

doesn't really matter my brother has the game, and he said that you have to get the national dex by seeing like every sinnoh pokemon and that's when you can get em

this is the best game for handheld in all my years playing video games. i play this game sooo much. probably to 8 hours a day. i got like black bags under my eyes lol. i recomend if your a pokemon fan get this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are the original pokemons (i.e. charmander, bulbosor, pikachu, etc...) still in the game?If so, are they catchable via battle in the wild or do have to refer back to the Pokemon Red and Green version?

Absolutely!True basics... no fancy schmancy extra features, just battle and experience :D
