Your obsession with Surya is pathetic. You go on every video and say Surya should have won every World or Olympic title. Heck why dont they still give her the gold medals from Worlds even today, after all according to you she probably would win those if she felt like it and the judging were what you deem fair too, LOL!

You're right the FLIP WAS HORRIBLE!!!Lets be honest here, Surya lost because she's black and did not conform to the mainstream conception to skating.Listen up, her combinations alone BLOW Yukky out of the water. It was her home country y'all come on... NO HEIGHTPS the salchaw was only a 2 1/2 not 3/4.... this is just laughable

LOL, it's funny that Greatass didn't mention the Flip because that's the jump which was most suspect! That one and her Salchow in sequence were a 1/4 short. The rest were perfect. Not a huge deal, though, it's not like Bonaly had perfect rotation on all of her jumps either.

I am shocked and disgusted every time I watch this performance. Yuka only CLEANLY landed 3 triples whereas Surya had 5 and should receive partial credit for the very close triple triple combination.Yuka had much slower spins than Surya and lacked speed.Surya had way too much difficulty, despite the hand down on the loop, she deserved 5.8-5.9 across the board for TM especially in 1994. I would Yuka at a 5.5 for TM Although Yuka a bit more artistic her sheer lack of technique= undeserving

I'm not debating the results, but I think Yuka's technical marks were probably low because she some of her landings were very tight. She really fought to hang on to the lutz and the flip, her two most difficult jumps, and she didn't attempt a 3/3. |
