But philosophy begins where religion ends; philosophers might critique Hitchens et al, but they aren't going to send death threats to him and his family.Religion is false dogma; any philosopher that doesn't accept doesn't deserve to be called a philosopher.

Beware of being deluded by these guys (Hitchens/Dawkins/Harris). In top philosophical circles these guys aren't taken seriously in the least - not even by atheist philosophers. The logical rigor simply is not there.

Christianty is a farce .Here's an Example , Noah's Ark was not large enough to house all the animals .Christian don't realize that of clean animals there was Seven Males and Seven Females of that particular sort . Genesis 7:2 .And when Christians say that the Bible is Metaphorical , then they have admited that they lack wisdom and understanding of that which they have given their lives and ministering to . Well said. I have lots of religious family and friends; I don't dislike them as people (quite the opposite), but time for their beliefs to be 'respected' has ended.I've thought that religion (religion is to philosophy what alchemy is to chemistry) is infantile, subservient nonsense for many years, but Hitchens is able to describe my contempt much better than I can. Bravo!
