I mostly used tabs from Ultimate Guitar (Guitar Pro is an AMAZING program!), but even the best of the best tabs that I've found are missing a note here and there. Follow the tabs with the song, get it down, play it, and you'll find where stuff's missin'.

hell, that one's easy! Buy new strings! =D I suggest D'Addario, they're the best s'far as I'm concerned.
