Scooter...That ain't the point. Jeff took THAT, and Bonham's thing-and added another figure and what became of it is one of the most memorable grooves of all time, period. someone who's taught for 30 years told me, "only way to get that? Practice your ASS off!" Jeff's INTERPRETATION and phrasing are sorely missed by any of us who play. Keltner said "time Right outta Heaven" but Jeff would tell you his "time sucked". Humility knew no bounds with JP. Something to learn from. ;-))

Brett, get a life, shut the fuck up and go grab the sticks and learn the "shuffle" That's all I have to say you tard.

Still stalling, still talking. We're all thinking, if you could do it you would have, only takes 5 minutes, you have wasted that much time typing boastful bullshit.I got nothing to more to say to you until you back up your words.

Let's face it, anyone with rudimentary skills can learn the "Purdie/Picaro shuffle" and apply it to any number of songs with alternating bass and high beats. Ghosting is merely a rudimentary system if the drummer is truely trained classicly from the outset. I don't really see the big deal with a "Purdie shuffle" If you happen to thinks it's so "magical" then why don't you learn it and post it also. I'm guessing you can't play it yourelf and it just bugs the shit out of that some of us can.

No need to get your panties in a twist. I've been playing that shuffle since the song first came out when I was 15 years old. Yes, it take a "groove" continuity to fill the bill, but anyone with some chops can swing it and play it in time with fills and not miss a beat. Yes, Jeff is the man, but many like myself can hold the songs and replicate the groove just fine. Lot's of guy's on here that can and do. Everyone play's it, but not everyone play's it right. I do !
